The Cyclone 253DPi stands out as one of the top welders in Everlast’s latest lineup of pulse MIG machines. This new model takes the place of the older Power i-MIG 253DPi and comes packed with significant upgrades. For starters, the Cyclone supports a variety of welding processes, including MIG, Pulse MIG (both Single and Double Pulse), Flux-Cored (with or without gas), DC Lift Start TIG, and DC Stick welding.
Additionally, it boasts a user-friendly LCD screen that makes setup a breeze, eliminating the need for constant toggling and hidden menus. The bright, high-definition color display is easy to navigate, allowing users to configure the machine quickly and accurately. No more scrolling through endless menus; everything you need is on one page, clearly laid out for a smooth transition between settings.
Another great feature is the new PowerSet program, which simplifies the setup process even more for beginners or professionals looking for a quick configuration. Users can just input basic details like material type, wire diameter, and thickness, and the machine takes care of the rest. While it might not be the perfect fit for every scenario, it offers plenty of adjustability while keeping users within a practical range of settings.
As a Pulse MIG welder, the 253DPi truly shines with its single and double pulse capabilities.
The machine can be used to weld aluminum, bronze, steel, or stainless. The Supplied AK36 MIG Gun is installed with a Yellow STEEL Liner for wire/tip sizes 1.2/1.6mm (.045/.060″) (subject to change) When welding aluminum, the standard gun works well, but an optional spool gun or push-pull gun can be used to feed wire from .030″ to .045″ in diameter.
