The Power i-MIG 275P is designed for customers seeking a highly versatile MIG welder. With advanced features such as a 50% duty cycle at 275 amps, dual fan cooling, and digitally controlled IGBT component design, this unit stands out in its class. It can weld wire diameters from .023″ to .045″ with stability and low spatter. In addition to Synergic and manual welding modes, the 275P offers a pulse MIG mode that is fully adjustable for welding metals quickly and out of position without overheating. This feature is particularly useful for steel and stainless welding.
In addition to the pulse mode, the Power i-MIG 275P supports both spool gun and push-pull gun operation, making it suitable for both hobbyists and industrial-level professionals interested in aluminum welding. When the push-pull or spool gun is connected, the user can choose between pulse and synergic operation, in addition to the standard manual mode. The unit also has the capability to store up to 9 different programs, making it convenient for multiple users or applications.
To further customize and fine-tune the MIG’s performance, the unit includes adjustable burn back, automatic pre/post gas flow, and inductance control. These features allow the user to completely customize the MIG’s performance according to their specific needs.
In addition to its impressive list of MIG features and performance, the Power i-MIG 275P also has a stick welding mode. This mode includes a E6010/Cellulose mode, hot start adjustments, and arc force control.
Please note that the Pulse mode is fully manual and does not feature a hot start for aluminum welding. If aluminum and brazing are intended to be the primary uses of this product, we recommend considering the Power i-MIG 253DPi and Power i-MIG 353DPi for the best results in terms of synergic, easy-to-use operation. These models handle steel and stainless steel equally well and offer both single and double pulse modes, along with advanced synergic capability.
