The Cyclone 312 excels in delivering high-performance capabilities. As a cutting-edge inverter MIG/Stick welder from our latest generation, it provides up to 315A MIG output and 250A Stick output with a 35% duty cycle at maximum output. The Cyclone 312 surpasses similar competitor models in terms of both maximum output and duty cycle. Despite being the most powerful in its category, its inverter design sets it apart as one of the most compact and lightweight self-contained welders with a trolley-type undercarriage. It is notably smaller and lighter than its transformer-based counterparts. The machine’s new digital user interface boasts a 4.3″ TFT LCD display, featuring full contrasting colors and large numerical readouts for easy visibility even from a distance. This innovative design incorporates various additional features such as pre and post gas flow control, inductance (arc force), and burn back control to enhance weld quality and performance. Additionally, it includes functions like 2T and 4T control for extended seam welding. For applications requiring bodywork, vessel construction, or the installation of large panels and sheets, the unit offers spot and stitch timers that work in tandem to ensure consistent and high-quality spot welds and seam sizes. A notable new feature is the professional-level “Power Set” mode, enabling users of all levels to quickly and accurately set up the machine without guesswork. By inputting operating parameters such as gas, wire type, and size, the machine automatically adjusts Volts and Wire Speed within an adjustable range that can be fine-tuned for specific applications, such as welding in different positions or varying material thicknesses. Moreover, the machine features a memory function that allows users to save multiple programs in both MIG and Stick modes, including custom programs. For those working with aluminum, the unit is compatible with the Parker 300A spool gun and North Push Pull Gun.
