Hurricane 220 MTS-C $3,350.00

There is no true multi-process welder like the Hurricane 220 MTS-C. In fact, it’s among the first on the market to combine cutting and welding capabilities into a single small device. With just a torch change and button press, the equipment truly gives you the ability to MIG weld, AC/DC TIG weld, DC Stick Weld, or Plasma Cut. The device is the ideal size to be a competitive option for light fabrication and portable repair tasks.

Thanks to the IGBT inverter design, this unit is portable enough to be carried anywhere and always have the necessary equipment at hand. You won’t have to worry about bringing extra machines or regret not bringing something else to the worksite. The appropriate tool for the task will always be within reach. With a MIG and TIG welding power of up to 225A, you can weld most common items encountered in the field up to 5/16″ in a single pass and up to 3/8 to 1/2″ in multi-pass. The 40A plasma cutter provides sufficient cutting power to cleanly cut up to 1/2″ and even more if needed.

The machine’s compact size allows it to fit in most service bodies for transportation and can accommodate an 8″ roll of wire, equivalent to approximately 10 to 12 lbs of wire capacity. It is lightweight enough to be carried by one person without requiring special loading equipment. With a duty cycle of 35% at maximum output, this unit is always ready for use and service, ensuring smooth welding operations without prolonged delays or interruptions.
